4-day Faculty Improvement Program (FIP)
In the 21st century, research has become most important and a need of the day. This workshop assists the participants to understand the philosophies, concepts and elements of designing a research inquiry; to have a working knowledge in the area of academic and field research. Emphasizing on deductive empirical research, it helps the participants to appreciate alternative approaches to research in Commerce and Management.
The participants will have the knowledge of methods of collecting, measuring, analyzing quantitative and qualitative data. It familiarizes them with designing, administering field surveys, case study, analysis and action based approaches to research.
The Workshop also provides the participants innovative pedagogy/research methodology with the theoretical approach and hands-on experience of different facets of research methodology helping immensely for research scholars, academicians and also working executives in corporate offices. The overall aim is to enable a researcher to develop the skills needed to design and undertake research that is relevant, rigorous, significant and ethical.
