On the occasion of Rashtriya Hindi Divas, celebrated annually on September 14, the Hindi Department of Sri Bhagwan Mahaveer JAIN Evening College conducted a celebration aimed at promoting the significance of the Hindi language and fostering a sense of pride in the language among students and staff.

The event commenced with a formal inauguration, graced by the Chief Guest Dr. Pushpa K, Associate Professor- Hindi, Dr. K M Mahesh, Principal, Sri Bhagwan Mahaveer JAIN Evening College, along with the faculty of the Hindi Department. This was followed by a welcome address from Dr. Ashwath, Head of Department- Hindi who highlighted the significance of Hindi divas.

The Chief Guest, Dr. Pushpa K, delivered a keynote address emphasising the vitality of the Hindi Language in national integration and cultural identity. She also elaborated on evolving role of Hindi in global communication and its increasing influence in literature, media, and culture.

The event also featured a cultural segment with Aarohi (music team) performing traditional Hindi songs and Revozz (dance team) creating a festive atmosphere through dance. These performances were not only entertaining but also underscored the cultural diversity and unity that the Hindi Language represents.

The success of Hindi Divas Celebration was a testament to the dedication of the organising committee, comprising Dr. Ashwath, Dr. Tiwari & JAIN Student Council Students.
