International Conference: Shaping a Responsible Future through Technology, Equality and Sustainability


Bengaluru, 12th December 2025: The two-day International Conference on “Shaping a Responsible Future through Technology, Equality & Sustainability” was successfully conducted from 10 - 12 December 2025 at JAIN Evening College, bringing together academicians, researchers and industry experts to deliberate on contemporary global challenges.

The conference was inaugurated with a dignified opening ceremony graced by the Chief Guest, Dr Jalaja, Dean and Research Head, Bengaluru City University (BCU), who delivered an insightful inaugural address aligned with the conference theme. The event was further honoured by the presence of Smt Godamani, Governing Council Member, as the Special Invitee. The academic sessions featured a National Keynote Address by Mr Punyashloka Pattanayak on technological advancements in the aviation sector and an International Keynote Address by Prof Yuvraj Sunecher from the University of Technology, Mauritius, focusing on sustainable industrialisation. Well-structured technical sessions were conducted and evaluated by an eminent panel of academicians. The conference received over 70 research paper submissions, including four international papers, reflecting strong academic participation.

The subsequent proceedings commenced with a formal introduction and devotional invocation, setting a focused and positive tone. An inspiring address was delivered by Mr Ravindra Bhandari, Vice President, JAIN Group, followed by the presence and message of the Registrar, Bengaluru City University, as Guest of Honour. Keynote sessions included a National Address by Ms Pooja Patil on Sustainability Practices 2035 and an International Address by Dr Dilip S. Muttum, Monash University Malaysia, on sustainability-driven fashion among youth. A major highlight was the release of the Conference Proceedings in an ISSN journal and the presentation of Best Paper Awards by the Principal, Dr Mahesh K. M. The conference concluded with closing remarks and a vote of thanks, marking a successful and impactful academic event supported by JGI management, faculty, students, and participants.
